PROJECT BriefStokes Design Studios began creating and producing products in 2018. Initially the products were sold only through ETSY. In 2022 we decided on a much needed rebrand in order to move forward with our company. We wanted a new brand to seperate our products from our design studio and The Raven and the Goose was born.
BRANDINGFor the branding we wanted to convey an adventurous spirit. The primary logo reflects the design of old tavern signs tying into our role-playing products. Various color combinations were explored and in the end we focused on the main colors of the raven and goose characters with ivory as a secondary color.
The pictorial mark and wordmarks were designed in the same tavern sign style for use in email signatures, packaging stamps, promotional stickers and product signage. For the typefaces we paired up Elephant for our headlines with Montserrat for readability in our body copy. Elephant reflects a decorative style that worked with the tavern sign design. SOCIAL MEDIAUtilizing three of our branding colors, multiple templates were created as backgrounds for our products and images. These template designs are also featured in our websites headers, promotional images and product categories.
WEBSITEThe Raven and the Goose website features 100's of products and needed to be designed for ease of usability. The site utilizes drop down menus, various search categories on product pages and a product of the day banner that ties into our daily social media posting. An integrated review system creates customer trust in the brand.
